It depends on the customers’ requirements and weather condition.According to our national standard, there is at least 5% CaCO3 in CPE 135A. 5% CaCO3 can help CPE 135A avoid blocking problem at normal temperature while keep its good quality. But if the temperature very high, like in summer, we suggest to add more CaCO3 inside. Otherwise, it is easy to have agglomeration problem.
Calcium Carbonate works as anti-blocking material in CPE.As we know, CPE 135A is a kind of thermoplastic elastomer. It needs anti-blocking materials to avoid agglomeration and keep flowable powder.Calcium Carbonate is also used as filler in PVC pipes or profiles. So using Calcium Carbonate as anti-blocking materials in CPE 135A is the best choice.

This depends on area:Europe: profile = Ca/Zn, some Pb until end of next year; pipe Ca/Zn, OBS and some Pb until end of next yearChina; CIS: Mainly Pb but already some above mentioned alternativesNorth America: Mainly Tin, no Pb, rarely Ca/ZnAustralia: Ca/Zn, OBS.Africa/Arabia: Mainly PbTurkey manket: There is a significant trend to switch to Lead-free, stronger than in Arabian area less strong compared to Europe.(Thanks Mr. Schiller’s sharing)
Three types: CPE, Acrylate and ABS based.Better Impact at low dosing : ABS is good, but poor UV stabilityNeeds better UV Stability : Acrylate best.CPE more dosing is required to have Impact strength similar to what you get with Acrylate based.(Thanks Mr. Sharma’s sharing)
